Rules: - Post globals and HOF screenshots at EF in this thread (mining or hunting) - All screenshots must be taken with Autoscreen Software (min version 1.4.2.2) - In the watermark field option in Autoscreen, the following must be written: Autoscreen event 1 - your full in game name (like: Autoscreen event 1 - Loke MrSmith Smith) - After you have taken a screenshot by using the auto function in Autoscreen or by using the manual printscreen function in Autoscreen, you go and post that image in this thread. How it will work When a screenshot is taken with Autoscreen, the watermark text and the unique image checksum will be posted automatically in Autoscreens online database. It's very important that the image is not modified (including resized) outside of Autoscreen, cause that will change the unique checksum and your screenshot will not be valid (checksum will be checked on the winning screenshot). Resize of screenshot has to be done by using the functions in Autoscreen. Important: Use JPEG Smart Quality, and set this to max 300kb. Since EF resize images based on size when uploaded! The competition will run from 16 JAN - 16 FEB (MA time, GMT+0 - 16 FEB including) When the competition is over, I will post a list with all of the screenshot ID's that have been stored in the database. Then the winner will be picked by using "random number of the day" from this web site: techzoom.net - Random Number Generator (RND) The user that have the screenshot with the screenshot ID that is closest to the last xxx (depends on how many screenshots there will be) will be the winner of the 1000 PED's! These are all the screenshots posted in the event thread. Made a software that extracted all the images from the thread and put random lot numbers on them.
The winner of the event will be the person that have a number closest to the random generated number found here: http://www.techzoom.net/security-random.asp.
The last 4 digits in the random number of the day is what you need to look for. The number changes tonight at 00:00 GMT(+0).
Lot numbers that does not contain 4 numbers, will have leading 0's. Like number 10 will be 0010 in the random number of the day. If there should be 2 persons that are equal close to the winning number, the person with the highest number wins.
Ex: If winning number is 1000 and person A have 999 and person B have 1001, person B will win.
After the winning number is drawn, I will check if the screenshot corresponding with the lottery number, has a valid checksum. So keep an eye on this thread tomorrow morning at around 07.00 (GMT+1). Thats when I will check the screenshot.
